A long, hot summer in South London. Jamie is rejected by his classmates, Ste gets beaten up by her father, and Leah escapes into the musical world of Mamas and Papas. This cult film of the 90s considerably influenced the construction of a whole generation of adolescents and young adults who discovered a British cinema that was both new and fresh, under the background of social reality, with characters from the working classes to whom they could savor.
