Selected book: Frankenstein or Mary Shelley's Modern Prometheus.

Pitch: Victor Frankenstein, a scientist from Geneva, succeeds in giving life to a being made up of an assemblage of corpses.
Frankenstein or Mary Shelley's Modern Prometheus is a novel written by an 18-year-old woman who revolutionized literature. It is considered by many to be the first true science fiction novel ever written. Released exactly 200 years ago, this is one of the first novels describing the victory over death by Science. For us, it is reminiscent of the Golem. For others, it is considered a Gothic novel. For all, Frankenstein is a masterpiece, a universal myth.

Lucie will present a short story about the author and the book. Everyone can then speak on the book.

Participants are invited to propose books for the next sessions
