Frig is an experimental feature film by director Antony Hickling. Starting from the lyrical narrative of a relationship
in love, the viewer then plunges into the universe of the 120 Sodom Days of the Marquis de Sade and the links
between love disappointment, violence and sexuality are revealed little by little.
Created in collaboration with performer Biño Sauitzvy, Frig integrates the languages of performance, dance and dance.
poetry in its narration. His three chapters ("Love", "Shit" and "Sperm") draw an imaged portrait of the rite of
passage through which, voluntarily or not, we access the shamanic path, where our sufferings are
sublimated. The body of the protagonist is here his main tool of learning and exploration.
Frig is the third and final part of a thematic trilogy, started with Little Gay Boy and Where Horses Go
to Die. We recommend the public to stay until the end of the credits to discover the Epilogue, entitled "Gold",
which concludes the whole cycle.
The feature film is currently touring the world of festivals, through Mexico, Spain, Germany,
Brazil, Israel and Switzerland.
After the broadcast of the complete trilogy at the Festival Chéries Chéris Frig is now in projection at the cinema St André des Arts).
