My Child My Battle is a documentary film that tells the story of homosexual parenthood in France through the Apgl -Association of Parents and Future Parents Gays and Lesbians- the first French association to fight for the rights of homoparental families.
Based on many testimonials (children and families concerned, researchers, doctors, institutional, lawyers, politicians and thinkers) on different forms of doing family (PMA, IAD, ROPA, GPA, Adoption, Co-parenting, Multiparentality, Single Parenthood , Transparency ..) and archival documents (PACS, MARRIAGE, Manifestations, Debates on Bioethics ..) Jouvet gives the floor to those who make or have made, by their personal choices, their commitments and their collective struggles , the history of homosexuality in France since 1986.
A story that is far from over ...
