A few words from the artist:
"The work that I propose is a photographic work of a male nude with inlay of flags and map of countries. The maps then become the veins or sometimes the bruises of the bodies in which they are found embedded.
I chose in the position and the representation of the model across the country, its map and its flag, a symbolism for the whole series of body maps.
The model tied with ropes represents a country where the death penalty is still applied for homosexuals, the model curled up on itself for countries where prison sentences still exist, the model in a "relaxed" position the countries which have adopted marriage for all. "
